Leighton Meester is beautiful, successful, and, like all celebrities with an ounce of ambition, inseparable from her BlackBerry. These days, Meester can be seen personifying teen angst in the popular show 'Gossip Girl' where she plays Blair Waldorf, a young socialite with a healthy appetite for the spotlight.

Though primarily known for her aforementioned role, Meester has been around for years, having appeared in everything from 'CSI Miami' to last year's indie flick 'Flourish' and the just-releasted 'Remember the Daze,' in which she plays a -- surprise, surprise -- a high-school student. When she isn't on set or closing deals, she is recording music. Golly do we feel inadequate.

What gadgets do you always bring with you to the set for down-time?

I bring my iPod and my BlackBerry. I listen to my iPod in my trailer while I'm getting my hair and makeup done.

I have a BlackBerry. I love it because I can get business done anywhere and anytime.

What annoys you most about your iPod, cell phone, or laptop (or any other gadget)?

My cell phone doesn't get great service on both coasts, which is hard because I am constantly traveling back and forth from Los Angeles to New York.

Name one thing you wish your iPod/cellphone/laptop could do that it doesn't do now?

I wish my phone had a button on it that could unlock my car door, because I usually have it in my hand then anyway.

What upcoming gadget can you not wait to get your hands on?

A cell phone that gets great service on both coasts.

If I were stranded on a desert island I would probably want a ham radio so that I could be rescued!

Trying really hard to have a baby? Trying really hard not to?

The nice, slightly intrusive folks at BabyCenter.com can aid your cause with the "Booty Caller," a free text-messaging service that tracks your menstrual cycle and lets you know when you're ovulating. Enter the date of your last period and your cell phone number, and you'll receive alerts letting you know when you're extra fertile, along with helpful, kind-of-icky tips. (Did you know that lube can impede conception? No? Now you do!)

Booty Caller subscriber Nancy Evers told the Seattle Times that both she and her husband use the service. After they get the texts, they message each other and "get all flirty" until they can be together. (The reporter from the Times lamented, "It would be nice if they remembered to have sex on their own.")

Clearly, the tool was designed for women who are trying to conceive, but we think it would be extra helpful for those of us who aren't. If you're trying to make babies, your text will be your signal to run home to your significant other for wild, unprotected sex. If you're not, it's a signal to lock the liquor cabinet and delete your ex's telephone number.

Perhaps in the future, the service can take more direct sex-inhibiting measures, like automatically texting your guy "We need to talk" and "I feel fat" before you get home.

Use caution, however: The Booty Caller doesn't account for changes in your cycle, and every woman's biology is different. So unless your ovaries run like a Swiss cuckoo clock, use more conventional scientific methods.

I had never been much of a coffee drinker until my trip to Hawaii last year. While I was there I discovered the delicious and rich flavors of Kona coffee, only available from the Hawaiian Islands. Since then, just the smell of fresh coffee beans or coffee brew makes my mouth water.

Coffee drinkers are a dedicated bunch. They set their automatic Cuisinart coffee maker to brew their morning coffee the same way they set their alarm to wake them up in the morning. Or they stop at their favorite coffee franchise, like Starbucks, every morning on their way to work.

I don't need too much caffeine in the morning, so I like to stick with my one cup coffee maker. Though I like my Keurig coffee maker, I thought it would be nice to try some other types of coffee. I decided to get some suggestions by looking at what kinds of coffee people are searching for on AOL Search.

For a special treat, I am excited to try some of the gourmet coffee that showed up on the top searched list. Number seven, Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee, has regional exclusivity like Kona coffee and a deliciously unique flavor. Gevalia Coffee carries a wide variety of gourmet flavors and roasts, including seasonal flavors. I was also interested in getting some green coffee beans and roasting my own coffee. What could be fresher?

If I need a cup of joe on the go, drive thru coffee, like Dunkin Donuts, is the fastest and I can get some breakfast. Green Mountain Coffee, number one on the list, is also great with food and is served at a lot of restaurants because they sell wholesale coffees.
